About Us

Sundaram Edusys Pvt. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE & NSE listed company: Sundaram Multi Pap Ltd., the market leader in the field of paper stationery products since 25 years.

Today the world is growing at the speed of light and everyone is talking that some day India will be a “Super Power” but not many of us are actually thinking: HOW?

Well we have; and we believe EDUCATION is the only way through which we can achieve our goals and make this NATION a “SUPER POWER” Hence with this aim in mind we have developed e-class; a unique Audio-Visual Learning concept for students of Maharashtra State Board with the ease of viewing on a TV.

In a country like India where Internet is a hassle even in metros like Mumbai one cannot imagine having the luxury of computers in the small towns which cover more than 60% of the country. But yes, majority of households of India have a TELEVISION.

Evolution of “e-class” :

  • The idea of becoming an enabler in the field of education came out of Sundaram’s corporate social responsibility programme that the company has been conducting from the year 2000 and in these ten years it has carried out some innovative and meaningful programme at the grass root levels in the field of elementary education.
  • The company has established 5 schools between 1998 and 2007 including a school for the deaf and dumb children, participated in the project for the construction of a Hostel for the Handicapped Children in Kutchh, Gujarat.
  • Entered into a special tie-up with the National Association for the Blind (NAB).
  • Donations to Defense Fund at the time of Kargil War as well as for the preservation of the wild life.
  • Published a book “i-Watch India” authored by Mr. Krishan Khanna and distributed more than 25,000 books free of cost among the State Governments, School libraries as well as among the various corporate entities.
  • Company is also conducting free of cost motivational and counseling programme especially in the State of Maharashtra, it being the main market for its school stationery products (90% of its sales) since 2003, in its various districts, talukas and villages for the school children.
  • While conducting such programme, company noticed glaring inadequacies in majority of schools in these areas in terms of non availability of required number of teachers all throughout, thus denying an equivalent education to school children.
  • Thus the idea of creating completely syllabus based educational content for Maharashtra S.S.C. Board’s standards 1 to 10 took shape, in the later half of 2006.
